Training course: Attainig certification competency in accordance with§ 8a (3) BSIG (Act on the Federal Office for Information Security)

Proprietors of critical infrastucture have to prove at least every two years compliance with the demands of §8a (1) BSIG (Act on the Federal Office for Information Security) in an appropriate manner. Prove, according to §8a (3) BSIG may consists of security audits, reviews or certification.

The BSI (Federal Office for Information Security) provides orientation on its website on appropriate proving methods in accordance with§ 8a (3) BSIG (Act on the Federal Office for Information Security) as well as list of alltraining providers with certification competency accoring § 8a (3) BSIG (Act on the Federal Office for Information Security). AUDEG is listed and offers training during which the "additional competency to certify in accordance with§ 8a BSIG" may be obtained. Training courses are aimed at internal and external auditors in the area of IT-security, internal revision or financial auditors and the courses are taught by our instructors Boban Kršić and Michael Schmid who both have been active within KRITIS (German Regulation on Determining Critical Infrastructures (BSI-KritisV)) for a long time. The two-day course takes place in Frankfurt (Main) as well as in Berlin.

The price for a two-day training course incl. certification is 1.390,00 Euro (1.168,07 € net, plus 19% VAT) and includes course materials, catering and a certificate of attendence. AUDEG members pay a reduced fee of 1.090,00 Euro (915,97 Euro net, plus 19% VAT). More information on this course will be provided approx. 4 weeks prior the start date. The training is offered on demand.
